A Secure and Efficient Off-line Electronic Payment System forWireless Networks

    Get PDF
An electronic cash system allows the exchange of digital coins with value assured by the bank’s signature and with concealed user identity. In an electronic cash system, a user can withdraw coins from the bank and then spends each coin anonymously and unlinkably. In this paper we propose a secure and efficient off-line electronic payment system based on bilinear pairings and group signature schemes. The anonymity of the customer is revocable by a trustee in case of a dispute. Because the amount of communication in the payment protocol is about 480 bits, the proposed off-line electronic payment system can be used in wireless networks with limited bandwidth

Speed Computation for Industrial Robot Motion by Accurate Positioning

In this paper we define a new method for speed (velocity) computation, named mixt profile. The mixt profile of speed variation assures an accurate positioning at the end of motion (movement), in a well determinate time lapse. The method is linked with computation of location (position) matrix, about an industrial robot. Mixt profile of speed may be applied about motion on linear or circular trajectories. The paper continues the explanation from [6] regarding this method

Fixed Point Theory in Fuzzy Normed Linear Spaces: A General View

    Get PDF
In this paper we have presented, firstly, an evolution of the concept of fuzzy normed linear spaces, different definitions, approaches as well as generalizations. A special section is dedicated to fuzzy Banach spaces. In the case of fuzzy normed linear spaces, researchers have been working, until now, with a definition of completeness inspired by M. Grabiec’s work in the context of fuzzy metric spaces. We propose another definition and we prove that it is much more adequate, inspired by the work of A.George and P. Veeramani. Finally, some important results in fuzzy fixed point theory were highlighted

OFF-LINE ELECTRONIC CASH SYSTEMS BASED ON A SECURE COALITION-RESISTANT GROUP BLIND SIGNATURE SCHEME

Abstract. Secure and efficient electronic payment systems are sig-nificant for electronic commerce. Fangguo [9] proposed a fair elec-tronic cash system with multiple banks based on a group signature scheme of Camenisch [5] and the group blind signature scheme of Lysyanskaya [11]. Ateniese proved in [1] that these group signature schemes does not satisfy the property of coalition-resistance. In this paper we extend the electronic cash system of Fangguo by using a se-cure coalition-resistant group blind signature scheme. The main ben-efits of our off-line electronic cash system, compared to the scheme of Fangguo, relate to the underlying group signature scheme’s improved efficiency and provable security. 1
